KAJIAN N TOTAL DAN pH SERTA HASIL SAWI AKIBAT PEMBERIAN PUPUK HIJAU KIRINYU DAN PENAMBAHAN UREA

Jurnal Informasi Pertanian Lahan Kering (Journal of Dryland Agricultural Information) Nomor 14, Juni 2004. Pusat Penelitian Lahan Kering Undana.Kupang.2004 (1-6)

Kata-kata kunci; N total tanah, pH tanah, kirinyu, pupuk hijau, urea.

Abstract
A study has been conducted in the green house of the Faculty of Agriculture, Nusa Cendana University and followed by soil chemistry analysis at the chemistry laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, Nusa Cendana University. The research lasted for four months from Juli 2003 to October 2003. The method used was a two factor randomized block design. Results revealed that there was no interaction between the application of Chromolaena green manure (A) and urea dosage (B) on soil total-N,pH or plant fresh weight at harvest. The effect of the application of Chromolaena green manure as a single factor highly significantly influenced the soil total-N, reduced the soil pH, and significantly increased the plant fresh weight at harvest. The effect of urea dosage as a single factor highly significantly influenced the soil total-N and soil pH but showed no significant influence on the plant fresh weight at harvest. The highest plant fresh weight was produced at the application of Chromolaena green manure.
Keys words: Soil N-total, soil pH, Chromolaena odorata, gren maure, siam weed, urea.
